WORDS MATTER WEEK 2019-2020

Dates will be announced soon....
WORDS MATTER WEEK 2017

WORDS MATTER WEEK 2017

Each of our schools participated in activities and events that recognized the value and importance of our words during Words Matter Week (February 5-9). The week focuses on the power that words can have to make others feel good about themselves or to bring others down. This is the 4th year SRVUSD celebrated the week.

The hope is that the ongoing dialogue inspires students, staff, and parents to be mindful of the words they choose in day-to-day conversations, not only during this week of awareness, but all year long.

The week was a success thanks to the partnership between the San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs and the District's Climate Committee.

As part of SRVUSD's ongoing efforts to support diversity and equity in our schools, the district is proud to present a Culturally Responsive Speaker Series featuring several renowned experts. Education and communication are essential to help foster dialogue around the challenges that divide. The goal is to create a community that values diversity, embraces our differences and builds partnerships based on trust, respect and mutual understanding.
