Principal's Message

Dear Coyote Creek families,

Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! I am thrilled to be welcoming all of you to our school community, or as I like to say, “Our Coyote Pack.”  Our staff's continued commitment to your children will undoubtedly help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As stated in our vision statement, here at Coyote Creek …

We envision a diverse school community that values the whole child by meeting their academic, social, and emotional needs. We will prepare students for the future by providing them with a safe, engaging, challenging, and emotionally supportive environment. With a dedicated staff and parent community we will strive to develop students who will become lifelong learners and are able to meet the growing changes of the future.

I believe that parental involvement is crucial to student success. An old African proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” We encourage active participation and support from parents and look forward to the continued growth of our “village.”  We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child's education. Doing what is best for children is our top priority!

Lastly, Coyote Creek Elementary was named a 2019-20 California Exemplary Arts Education Award winner because of our dedication to the arts disciplines across all grade levels. I am very proud of this accomplishment as our Arts programs enrich the lives of our students while preparing and equipping them to meet the academic challenges that lie ahead.

Cheers to a great year!
