If your child will be absent or late for school, parents need to email ckattend@srvusd.net before 8:00am.
Please email the following information:
- Student’s legal name (please spell). No nicknames, please.
- Reason for absence
- Date(s) of absence
- Your name and relationship
AUTOMATED ABSENCE NOTIFICATIONS:
Parents will receive an automated "Attendance Safety Message" by 8:30am if the school has not been able to resolve a student absence by that time. If a student absence is stll unresolved by the end of the day, an additional attendance message will be sent via email and phone.

Arriving late: Students arriving late must have a parent email ckattend@srvusd.net prior to the student arriving at school. The student must check in at the office and sign in.
Leaving early:
If your child will be leaving campus during the school day, please let your child's teacher know.
When arriving on campus to pick your child up, please come to the office to sign them out
Your child will be called to the office.

If a student is marked absent from class but the office is not notified, the following steps will be taken to communicate to parents.
1. Parents will receive an “Attendance Safety Message” email by 8:30AM if the school has not been able to resolve a student absence by that time.
2. If a student absence is still unresolved by the end of the day, an additional attendance message will be sent via email and phone.

3. Absences not cleared by a parent/guardian within 48 hours will revert to a CUT.

Per Califonia Education Code 46011, students who have 10 or more excused absences since the beggining of the school year will require verification from a physician for any additional absences. Without verification from a physician, the absence with coded as unexcused.
