Safety Patrol
Fifth grade students have the opportunity to help their school community by becoming members of the safety patrol. The students must write an essay that indicates why they feel they have the qualifications to be on the safety patrol. Selected students participate in an after school training session and take a written test on school safety rules. Students are assigned to help with traffic duty either before or after school.
