JODIE DOWLING
My name is Jodie Dowling and I am fortunate to be a part of the dynamic Coyote Creek community. I am a native of the Los Angeles area. At a young age, I knew I had a passion for learning and education and decided to pursue a career in teaching. I received my BA and teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University. I began my teaching career working for the San Leandro Unified School District. I joined the Coyote Team in 2010. I have a long history of job sharing and I love being able to team teach and collaborate with others.
My husband and I are longtime Danville residents and we raised our two children in the community. When I am not teaching, you can find me on the tennis or bocce courts. Some of my other hobbies include running, skiing, reading, and watching all PAC 12 sports. I heavily favor the Oregon Ducks and the USC Trojans, where my two children attend college. I look forward to teaching another year here at Coyote Creek!

I have been teaching for 25+ years. I have taught in Pleasant Hill and the last 15+ years in San Ramon. Most of my teaching career has been in first and second grade. The biggest joy for me is seeing children learn how to read and develop a love for books. I wanted to be a teacher all my life since the first grade. It is fitting that first grade iswhere I have spent most of my teaching career.
I have two grown boys Brandon and Michael and a daughter Taylor. I love to spend
time with my family on the beach and going out to dinner and the movies.
In my spare time I like to work on my house (decorating), gardening, and going
shopping .We like to also spend time in Napa and my favorite places are Paris and New York City.

I can only remember wanting to be a teacher. I love working with children and seeing the sparkle in their eyes when they accomplish a hard task or the excitement in their smile when they make a new friend. I have been teaching at Coyote Creek since its doors opened in 2000. I had previously taught 3 years in another district. I have taught both third and first grade. I received my BA from Fresno State and my credential from Chapman University.
My husband and I are the proud parents of two children, Addison and Trevor. Spending time with them is my favorite thing to do. I love watching them grow.

Hello, my name is Pami Santiago and I’m delighted to be a teacher at Coyote Creek Elementary, and feel honored to be a part of the dynamic Coyote Pack!
I was born and raised in the Bay Area. My parents were both elementary school teachers and thoroughly enjoyed working with children. This may have been an influence on me, because as far back as I can remember, teaching has always been a passion of mine. I attended Chico State where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. After graduating, I spent another year at Chico working on my Teaching Credential, then received my Master’s Degree from Saint Mary’s College. Upon earning my credential, I began teaching for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and have been here ever since.
Outside of school, I enjoy boating, waterskiing, exercising and spending time with my family and friends!
I love everything about teaching and feel so fortunate to be a part of this dedicated staff!

Someone once told me that “educating little humans is a mind boggling process and one that will also enrich your life!” It is the latter that I find to be more true and the reason why I love to teach. I strive to create a classroom environment where students are encouraged to be inquisitive and creative, to appreciate each other’s differences, and to instill a love of learning. I am honored to be a part of the Coyote Creek community and to be a part of our students’ educational journeys.
I grew up in Southern California and obtained my B.A. in History at UCLA, and received my teaching credential and Masters in Education from UC Berkeley. I began my teaching career at Lorin Eden Elementary in Hayward and taught 4th and 5th Grade there for seven years. I joined the San Ramon Valley Unified School District in 2007 and have been at Coyote Creek ever since.
Away from the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, cooking, eating, and traveling.

I am a Native to the Bay Area. I graduated from Cal, with my degree in English, and received my teaching credential from St. Mary’s College. I have two “young adult” children and a fantastic husband. My daughter is teaching elementary school in this district and my son is working towards his mechanical engineering degree at University of San Diego.
I am fortunate to have been part of Coyote Creek since 2006. Prior to this, I lived and taught school in Alameda. After growing up in this area, I felt a need to leave the fog behind and return to the sunshine.
Working with children, on a daily basis, is both a passion and a privilege. I am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing community and doing a job I love.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies and exercising. Most of all, I love to spend time with family and friends.
