I am so thrilled to begin my teaching career at Coyote Creek! I feel fortunate to have been a part of the Coyote Creek community since 2017, working as a paraeducator. I’ve worked with many amazing teachers at this school - all of whom have inspired me to pursue this path. I can’t wait to apply everything I’ve learned in my experience to my own classroom. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year full of new memories and milestones and making great strides with my students.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends, and two dogs. I love to travel to new places and explore different foods but also, staying at home and curling up with a good book! I feel very lucky to be a part of the Coyote Creek pack and can’t wait to begin a wonderful year!

Someone once told me that “educating little humans is a mind boggling process and one that will also enrich your life!” It is the latter that I find to be more true and the reason why I love to teach. I strive to create a classroom environment where students are encouraged to be inquisitive and creative, to appreciate each other’s differences, and to instill a love of learning. I am honored to be a part of the Coyote Creek community and to be a part of our students’ educational journeys.
I grew up in Southern California and obtained my B.A. in History at UCLA, and received my teaching credential and Masters in Education from UC Berkeley. I began my teaching career at Lorin Eden Elementary in Hayward and taught 4th and 5th Grade there for seven years. I joined the San Ramon Valley Unified School District in 2007 and have been at Coyote Creek ever since.
Away from the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, cooking, eating, and traveling.
